In loving memory of Buck Buchanan of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who departed this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 78. Buck leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. R. Buchanan and Georgia Jordan Buchanan; his wife Patsy Hensley Buchanan; and his stepdaughter Cindy Trotter. He is survived by: his son Randy Buchanan of South Carolina; his brothers, John Buchanan (Peggy) of Shelby, NC, Don Buchanan (Annette) of Rutherfordton and Mike Buchanan (Shirley) of Rutherfordton; his stepchildren, Sharon Hardin of Ellenboro and Jodie Hardin (Craig) of Ellenboro; and his granddaughter Amy Nelon (Rob) of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Glenwood Bapitst Church Cemetery (461 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018).
