In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Brenda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Brenda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Meldon Arpe Ellis and Irene Heart Newton; and her son Jason Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Dean "Eddie" Ellis; her children, Brittany Ellis Sarenpo, Beth Renee Shelton and Thomas Michael Conner; and her sisters, Joan Flowers and Lou Fulford. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Chapel (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brenda's honor may be made to Crestview Baptist Church, 630 S. Church Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
