It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billie Metcalf (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), born in Spindale, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Margie Fay Nanney Metcalf; his brother Mike Metcalf; and his children, Rowan C. Metcalf (Barbara) and Jennifer Metcalf Elder (John). He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, wonderful cousins, and many dear friends.
