She was predeceased by: her parents, Quince Baxter Teseniar and Nellie Ruth Ward Teseniar; her husband Cecil Ward; and her sister Margie Harriger. She is survived by: her children, Denise Ward Gamble of Rutherfordton, Rob Ward (Ken) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lori Carter (Ben) of Clarksville, Georgia and De De Ward Fowler of Spindale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (1743 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
