She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson Moore and Frances Rollins Moore; her children, Terry Michael Nelon, Sherrill Whitson Nelon, Clay Ervin Nelon and Clint Carter Nelon; and her brothers, Robert, Arthur and John Henry Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dale Nelon (Robin) of Rutherfordton, Larry Bruce Nelon of Green Creek, Judy Gail Nelon of Lake Lure, Steve Allen Nelon (Marcia) of Union, SC and Sharon Sue Nelon of Green Hill; and her sister Grace Calderon of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
