He was predeceased by: his parents, David Guffey and Alice Guffey; his siblings, Robert, Dan Guffey and Nancy Griffith; and his son Clifford Guffey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Taylor Guffey; his children, Lucretia Roper (Roger), Emma Wyatt and Beauford Guffey, Jr. (Kathy); his godchildren, Angelia Allen and Kyle Yelton; and his sisters, Daphne Delahunt (Less) and Tina Winters (Ed). He is also survived by three grandsons, one great grandson, two great granddaughters, two step granddaughters, 1 step great grandson, 2 step great granddaughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
