We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2023, at the age of 91, Barbara Jean Powell (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), born in Champaign, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Elmer and Lois Maxine Robbins Zindars. She is survived by: her son George Edward Powell, Jr. (Gayle) of Forest City, NC; her granddaughters, Martina Atchson and Sherry Price; and her sisters, Patricia Bergmann and Betty Ellis. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
