She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Rolan Blanton and Lela Rebecca Scoggin Blanton; and her siblings, Roy Blanton, Festus Blanton, Reid Blanton, Earl Blanton and Grace Blanton Roddy.
She is survived by: her wife Anne Porcher; and her great grandchildren, John Sullivan and Carolyn.
