She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Higgins. She is survived by: her children, James Higgins and Janice Morgan (David). She is also survived by friends, neighbors, and generations of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Email (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714).
