We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Aileen Savannah Souther of Rutherfordton, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Aileen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Aileen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Y. Medford and Hettie Bivens Medford; her husband Kent M. Souther; her son Charles Pittman; and her stepson Robert Souther.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Champion, Joyce Souther, Donald Souther and Billy Pittman. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Home (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the Broad River Baptist Church (449 Broadriver Church Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
