She is survived by: her husband Wallace Wagg Cannon; her sister-in-law Susan Connor Cannon of Rutherford College; her children, Cynthia Helton (Chris) of Lenoir, Mark Parlier (Kelly) of Granite Falls and Kevin Cannon of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Zachary Fox (Meghan), Zack Causby (Katie), Derek Causby (Jessica), David Cannon (Hayley), Taylor Blankenship (Alex), Amber Cannon, Steven Alex Parlier, Graham Helton and Grayce Helton.
