With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie Brittain Leger of Rutherford College, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband R. Leger, Sr.; her siblings, John S. Brittain, Jr. (Juanita), Pete Brittain, Voltie Johnson (Forrest) and Sherrill Britain (Betty); her children, Pat Stillwell (Richard) of Rutherford College, John A. Leger, Sr. (Kim) of Rutherford College and Buddy R. Leger Jr. of Rutherford College; and her brother-in-law Gerald Leger.
She is survived by: her parents, Fathey Carswell Brittain and Sidney Brittain; her grandchildren, Brian Stillwell, John A. "Zeke" Leger, Jr. (Brittany), Amy L. Williams (Brent), Felix Leger, Alex Leger, Buddy R. Leger III (Haley), Ben Leger (Haley) and Laura L. Braswell (Sam); her great grandchildren, Kylee Wright, Ellah Leger, Amelia Leger, Wyatt Leger, Lealon Leger, Cecil Leger, Charlotte Leger and Waylon Braswell; and her sisters-in-law, Frances L. Barlowe, Rita L. Brittain and Blenda Leger.
