She was predeceased by: her brothers, Lee Vincent Dages, Jr. and Donald Joseph Dages; and her brother-in-law David Parrish. She is survived by: her husband Gary Carswell; her children, Kimberly Benfield (Alan) of Hildebran, Daren Carswell, Cathy Carswell of Floral City, FL and Derik Carswell (Nicole) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Parker Benfield, Daren Carswell, Kaylen Carswell, Kemp Carswell, Taylor Carswell and Kate Carswell; her siblings, Judith Lynch of Statesville, Lawrence "Larry" Dages of Lithia Springs, FL and Maria Moore (Jack) of Statesville; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Parrish of Valdese and Wanda Winebarger of Boone.
