She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Smith. She is survived by: her mother Helen Vance Forster; her daughters, Shanda Woody (Eric) of Morganton and Samatha Fettig of Brunswick, GA; her stepdaughter Janice Kirby of Rutherford College; her stepsisters, Gerri Lang of Morganton, Patricia Branch of Morganton, Bettie Bowling of Port Charlotte, FL. and Judy Capone of Port Charlotte, FL.; and her grandchildren, Aaron Puett, Lindsay Woody, Alex Fettig, Austin Fettig and Allison Fettig.
