She is survived by: her children, James Kenneth Benfield, Jr (Judy) of Black Mountain, NC, Cynthia Anne Benfield of Hickory, NC, Karen Benfield Jonakin of Chattanooga, TN and William Sherrill Benfield of Calabash, NC.; her grandchildren, Laura, Jeremy, Brandon, Preston, Bristol, Annie and Carly; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Kenzie, Taylor, James, Aubrie and Millie.
