With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Monk (Rural Hall, North Carolina), who passed away on July 23, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Minnie Mae McLeod and Dixon Monk; his wife Lois Louise Reid Monk; his siblings, Floyd, Sherman and Gaynell; his children, Steven Colby Monk (Susan) of Rural Hall and Yvetta Thomas (Robert) of Wallburg; his grandchildren, Heidi Simpson (Adam), Charlie Monk (Liz), Danielle Lanier (Erv), Melissa Frazier (Charles) and Robbie Thomas; his great grandchildren, Vance, Silas, Lily, Erickson, Sam, Devin and Cassie; and his sisters, Flaudia Mae Nixon of Alexandria, LA and Dorothy Lee Achette of El Campo, TX.
