He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Roscoe Ashburn and Sudie Cline Ashburn; and his wife Bonnie Sue Reeves Ashburn. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Tucker (Tom) and Sue Ashburn; his grandsons, Adam Tucker (Liz) and Zach Tucker; and his great grandchildren, Avery and Grace Tucker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
