He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Emory Essick and Grace Lookabill Essick. He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Able and Kenneth Essick; his aunts, Linda Fulk and Mary Handy (Jerry); and his nieces, Kristina and Amanda. He is also survived by two great-nephews, and one great-niece.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rural Hall Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 5696 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051.
