He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his daughter Maggie Rose; his grandson Bonham Moss Mabe of Tobaccoville; his son Matthew; his friend Luanne Newsome Rutledge; his sisters, Alma Oakley (Jake) of Walnut Cove and Jackie Ervin (Chris) of Galax, Virginia; his nephews, Ethan Oakley and Eric Oakley; his sister-in-law Toni Van Roekel (Jay); his nieces, Anna Roekel and Kate Von Roekel; and his mother-in-law Brenda Bray (Terry).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103 for the wonderful care they provided.
