He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell Ezra Lawson and Betty Fagg Lawson; and his wife Louise Duggins Lawson. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Lawson (Pollie) and Randy Lawson (Pam); his sister Mary "Merney" Rierson; and also, Jack and Nada Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
