She was predeceased by: her husband James Hassell Holland; her daughter Patricia Ann Troutt; and her siblings, Muriel Martin, Arley Nelson and Arthur Nelson.
She is survived by: her parents, Reverend James Franklin Nelson and Virginia Sumner Nelson; her son Marvin Holland of Winston-Salem; her sister Hazel Caudle; her half-siblings, Mary Hill, Linda Bowman, James Nelson and David Nelson; her grandchildren, Candi, Kevin Tilley and Marvin Holland, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Tristin Temples, Riley Temples and Kady Tilley.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
