With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Humble Shumate (Rural Hall, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Humble and Linnie Humble; her husband Ira Clyde Shumate; her children, Wayne Shumate and Patrica Pesek; and her grandson Timothy Shumate.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Jessica P. Garner (Jessica), Adam Pesek (Tashawnna) and Nicholas Pesek; her great grandchildren, William Aycock and Alexander Aycock; and her brother Clifford Humble.

A graveside service was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Park (6850 University Pkwy, Rural Hall, NC 27045).
