It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Simmons Jr. (Rural Hall, North Carolina), who passed away on September 3, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Levi Simmons Sr. and Margaret Craft Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Mike Simmons (Kelly), Julie Bradley (Bill) and Mark Simmons (Donna); his grandchildren, Allison (Nick), Jacob, Thomas, Stephen, Amanda, Emily and Daniel (Cady); his great grandchildren, Jett, Hannah and Will; and his close friends, Eddie, Susan Sapp, Susan Petit and Jim.
