We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2024, at the age of 80, James Daniel Potts (Rural Hall, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert Potts and Lucy Johnson Potts; his aunt Fannie Potts; and his brother Charles Potts. He is survived by : his wife Linda Hawks Potts; his children, Amy Patrick (Willie) and Bryan Potts (Monica); his grandchildren, Keeshon Patrick, Chandler Potts and Liza Potts; his great grandchild Brady Patrick; his cousins, Louise Rippey, Gary Hawks and Phyllis Hicks; his brother Larry; and his sister-in-law Joann Boger.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rural Hall Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bannertown Baptist Church (2300 Bannertown Church Rd, Germanton, NC 27019).
