He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dunnagan Peak; his children, Gary Peak, Jr., Christian Peak, Tracy Brown (Scott), Kayla Peak and Darren Crews; his stepsons, Adam Kiger (Maris) and Matt Kiger (Jessica); his grandchildren, Amanda, Landon, Greyson, Emerson, Summer, Cameron, Ethan, Hunter, Siara and Mickey; and his siblings, Vickie Fritts (Larry), Carol Wilder, Craig Peak (Debbie), Kathy Peak and Dana Gayle (Waldo).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rural Hall Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
