He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Newsome; his grandson Anthony Edward (Tony); his brother Douglas Newsom (Charlotte) of Glendale, AZ; and his sisters-in-law, Shelby Moss Webb (Roger), Elsie Crews Moss and Marian Corbett Moss of Stone Mountain, GA..
