She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Sechrist and Alma Chappel Sechrist; her husband Donald Ray Goad; and her great grandchild Holly Noelle Goad. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Goad (Marie) and Keith Goad (Diane). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
