It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbur Harrelson of Ruffin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stanfield Harrelson and Mary Harrelson Nicks; his sisters, Barbara Cook and Billie Jo Pruitt; and his brother-in-law Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Harrelson; his children, Tonya Burton (Eric) and Chad Harrelson (Elisha); his grandchildren, Brianna Snead, Hunter Harrelson, Spencer and Ava Burton; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis and Brandon Taylor; his niece Janet Reagan; and his nephew Tim Pruitt.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church (9904 NC-150, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church (2704 Ashland Rd, Ruffin, NC 27326).
