He is survived by: his father Roger Alan Shaffer (Phyllis Shaffer); his children, Tina Shaffer, Victoria Anne Shaffer Cox, Chelsea Shaffer (Tyler Cox), Alan Shaffer (Emilee Shaffer), Bethany Shaffer (Zackary Aiken) and Roger Paul Shaffer (Alice Garcia); his grandchildren, Maddie, Charlotte, Miles, Gavin and Houston; and his sisters, Pam Duemig (Scott Duemig) and Susan Rahn (Billy Rahn).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Reidsville Christian Church.
