He was predeceased by: his father Roy B. East; and his brother Roy L. East. He is survived by: his children, Giles East, Brian of Ruffin, Craig East of Ruffin, Tonya East of Ruffin, Marcia Bibee (Tim) of Ruffin, Toni Towery (Jamie) of Ruffin, Michelle and Dawn East of Eden; his mother Betty East of Ruffin; his sisters, Jean Domina (Billy) of Eden, Linda Moore (Ted) of Reidsville and Cathy Cook (Rodney) of Burlington; his niece Libby Reed (Tracy) of Eden; and his nephew Dave Domina of Eden. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
