She was predeceased by: her father C. M. Wheatley. She is survived by: her children, Billy Southard (Jennifer) of Ruffin and Angela Kirkman (Donnie) of Eden; her grandchildren, Ian Ethan, Avery Kirkman, Daniel and Ryan Southard; her mother Arlene Purdy Wheatley of Eden; and her siblings, Mike, Roger Wheatley of Eden, Sammy Wheatley of Reidsville, Carolyn Pruitt (Carlton) of Elon and Lera May Harris of Eden.
