He was predeceased by: his father Harvey D. Handy; and his sister Lonnie "Sue" Hughes. He is survived by: his friend Donna Walker; his mother Bessie Cox Handy of Sanville, VA; his wife Donna Evans Handy; his daughters, Dana Lovette and Brandi Wilson (Chuck); his grandchildren, Morgan Lovette, Dakota Handy and Trenton Branham; his brothers, Roy D. Handy (Shirley) of Virginia and Troy M. Handy (Pat) of Virginia; and his friends, Rodney Walker and Benny Oakes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there the family will have a private memorial service.
