He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Emerson and Ethel Yates Simpson; his wife Georgie Collie Simpson; his siblings, Raymond Simpson, Haywood Simpson, Maurice Simpson, Geraldine Reagan and Elma Evans; and his granddaughter Sandra Wyatt.
He is survived by: his children, Aubrey Thomas Simpson of Ruffin and Tammy Simpson Taylor (Richard) of Reidsville; his sisters, Tiny Reagan of Reidsville, Loretta Cox of Reidsville and Shirley Smith of Pelham; his grandchildren, Ashley Miller (Darrell), Ian Wyatt (Reba) and Emily Taylor; his great grandchildren, Oakley Miller and Opal Miller; and also Cats Place.
