He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Brown and Emma Rhoades Brown; and his son Nelson Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Angeline Brown; his children, Josie Jones (Christoper) of Atlanta, Georgia, Wesley Richard Brown (Sati) of Baltimore, Renee'Brown (Brian) of Boones Mill, Virginia, Chris Brooks of Naperville and Brian Brown of New York City; his grandchildren, Devin Alexander, Dana Holland, Chris Dowe, Jay Dowe, Chandler Brooks and Cooper Brooks; his sisters, Mary Johnson of Largo and Evelyn Johnson of Temple Hills, Maryland; and his close friend Joe Parker of Durham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
