It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hubbard (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Woody Hubbard and Arzie Reed; her husband Lacy Hubbard; and her son Darnell Hubbard. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Woody (Musibau) of Roxboro, Cheryl Hubbard of Temple Hills, Lisa Knight (Charles) of Capitol Heights, Bernard Hubbard of Temple Hills, Maryland and Edward Woody of Temple Hills, Maryland; her grandchildren, Nikita Hubbard of Washington, DC, Alicia Hubbard of Capitol Heights, Malik Washington of Sacramento, Maurice Hubbard of District Heights, Troy Hubbard of Washington, DC, Randy Hubbard of District Heights, Stephone White of Temple Hills, KeShon Hubbard of District Heights, Devin Hubbard of District Heights and Lorenzo Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia; and her brother Dock Ragland (Gloria) of Roxboro. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (14 Main Cir, Roxboro, NC 27573).
