It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Marie Clayton of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Elizabeth Ann Bailey Perkins; her husband Douglas Wayne Clayton; and her sister Ann Scruggs. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Clayton of Roxboro, NC and Christopher Clayton (Carmen) of Efland, NC; her grandchildren, Shania Clayton, Kianna Parker, Brianna Parker, Cheyenne Summer, Destiny Storm and Bevin Pollard; and her sister Paula Owen (David). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services (1810 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
