It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Wooten Wilkins (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Wooten and Grace Mildred Pollock; and her sisters, Polly Cavanaugh and Griff Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband James Stanley Wilkins; her sister Ruth Wooten of Greensboro, NC; her son John Edward "Jed" Galloway (Lindsey) of Wilmington, NC; her stepson James Bradsher Wilkins (Jennifer) of Roxboro, NC; her granddaughter Avery Galloway; and her stepgrandchildren, Jesse and Elizabeth Wilkins.
