He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stone Powell; his daughters, Angela Stroud (Richard), Stephanie Paredes and Mandy Hutchinson (Brandon); his stepchildren, Sandy Moore, Janie Martin and Christie Parham; and his siblings, Curtis Wayne Powell and Wanda Powell Snead (Charles). He is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven step-grandchildren.
