He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Paylor, Sr. and Daisy Rogers Paylor; and his siblings, Wanda Paylor, Saundra Bosman and Thomas Paylor, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Paylor; his children, Starr Roberts of Charlotte and Chantale Roberts of Durham; his grandchildren, Travis Watts, Jr. of Durham, Travis Dixon, Jr. of Charlotte, Tylan Watts of Durham and Aleda Dixon of Charlotte; his siblings, Brenda Faye Williams (Jack) of Roxboro, Mark Paylor (Millie) of Roxboro, Dennis Paylor of Roxboro and Trinita Bailey (Tony) of Reidsville; his aunts, Rosa Cannon of Timberlake and Betty Rogers of Baltimore, Maryland; his great-aunt Beulah Rogers of Roxboro; his uncle A. B. Paylor of Baltimore; and his close friends, Johnny Elliott of Fayetteville, Douglas Daye of Rougemont and James Barnes of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the United House.
