We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rennis Edwin Puryear Sr. (Roxboro, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Velma Mildred Puryear (Gentry); and his sister Janice Marie Puryear. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl "Bee" Puryear; his children, Terry Lynn Puryear, Rennis Edwin Puryear, Jr. (Susan) and Wendy Puryear Livingston; his grandchildren, Shane (Christie), Stephanie and Tabitha (Christian); and his siblings, Peggy Mooney (Sam), Philip Puryear (Lynda), Tommy Puryear (Wanda), Tammy Puryear (Larry) and Jacky Puryear (Kendra). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services (1810 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rennis's honor to the Triple Springs Volunteer Fire Department, 185 Olive Branch Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
