With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtice Clayton of Roxboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Solomon and Lucy Nola Cozart Clayton; her spouse Effret Clayton; and her siblings, Raymond, Dameron Clayton, Eula Long, Ruby Horton, Alma Sparks, Nettie Wrenn and Janie Pecarina.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Calloway (Andy); and her grandchildren, Mollie Calloway, Casey Calloway (Shawn), Sally Calloway and Luke Calloway.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
