She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Carver and Inez Long Carver; her granddaughter Regina Barnette; and her siblings, Sterling Carver, Max Carver, Margaret Edith Newman, Lillian Pulliam, Monroe Carver, Lindsey Carver, Melvin Carver, Alvis Carver and Odessa Carver.
She is survived by: her husband George Barnette; her children, Reginald Barnette (Jenae) of Harlem, Hassenah Jones (Joe) of Atlanta, Georgia and Tracy Roundtree (Kevin) of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Shakira Barnette of Greensboro, Chauntae Barnette of Yuma, Taija Rivera (Jesse) of Havelock, Altareq Barnette of Dallas, Gabriel Barnette of Harlem, Peaches Barnette of Bronx, Deanna Jones of Dania Beach, Elexander Jones of Atlanta, Azrielle Rountree of Atlanta and Kevin Rountree, Jr. (Carrington) of Atlanta; and her siblings, Bertha Mae Donison of Roxboro, Emily Carver (Luther) of Durham, Thomas Carver (Brenda) of Roxboro, Evelyn Barnette (Walter) of Roxboro, Hazel Clinkscales of Durham, Hattie Dunham (James) of Durham, Larry Carver of Roxboro and Constance Walker (Sam) of Hillsborough. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
