He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Daye; his brothers, Philip Daye and Dennis Bailey; and his grandparents, Walter, Margaret Wiley, James and Mable Daye.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Wiley Daye of Roxboro; and his siblings, Stacey Daye (Tonya) of Chapel Hill, Stella Jones (Kenny) of Spring Lake, Marcella Richardson (Carl) of Roxboro and Kenneth Bailey of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
