She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Thomas and Eva Lee Briggs Mooney; her brothers, Wiley Thomas "W. T." Mooney, Jr., Clinton William Mooney, Willie P. "Bill" Mooney and Ronald Lee Mooney; and her siblings-in-law, Rosalind W. Melton (Lawrence), Wayne Dickerson and Bruce Humphries.
She is survived by: her husband Silas Hayes Wagner, Jr.; her children, Winfred Wagner (Paula) and Wendy Oliver (Rusty); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hayes Wagner (Jasmine), Brooke Wagner Nowell (Chris), Maranda Oliver Burwell (Marqus) and Mackenzie Oliver Melton (Caleb); her sisters, Betty Chandler (Billy) and Delosie Humphries; and her siblings-in-law, Stella W. Dickerson, JoAnne S., Elie Hayeck, Mike, Patty Stevens, Mark, Nancy Stevens, Ralph and Kaye Tuck.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clement Baptist Church (8480 Burlington Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
