She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Peter and Louetta Dance Chaney; her husband Harry C. Brandon; and her siblings, Lula Zickafoose and Howard Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Brandon of Roxboro, NC, Susan B. Stevens (Joey) of Morganton, NC, Lynn Brandon of Roxboro, NC, Randy Brandon (Terri) of South Boston, VA and Emily B. Hicks (Roger) of Oxford, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews.
