Mary Agnes Barker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 90, Mary Agnes Barker (Roxboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Mary Agnes Williamson Collie; her husband Norman Gwynn Barker; her daughter Julie Tatum; and her siblings, Clinton Collie, Gwendolyn Collie Shirey and Irmalee Collie Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Barker (Rebecca), Randy Barker (Tami) and Mary Lou Oliver; her brother John Allen Collie; and her grandchildren, Shelley Olson, Kyle Barker, Hollie Neathery, Katie Nida, Teresa Myers, Paul Oliver, Dawn Pittman and Ricky Roach. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Christian Church (455 Cunningham Rd, Semora, NC 27343).
