She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Clay, Sr. and Christine Lawson Clay; and her siblings, Robert D. Clay, Thaddeus Clay and Gladys Clay.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jasper Clay, Jr. (Ossie) of Columbia, Bernice Clay Baucum of Olney and Dorthene Royster of Roxboro. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church (145 Allens Chapel Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27574). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
