She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Clyde Horner and Mabel Horton Horner; her spouses, Merle S. Solomon and George A. Scoville; and her brother James E. Horner (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her sons, David Merle Solomon, Donald Mark Solomon (Allyson), Dwight Madison Solomon (Matt) and Clyde Anthony Solomon (Peaches); her stepchildren, Jennifer Huff and Gregory Scoville; her siblings, William C. Horner (Billy) and Dorothy Horner Fowlkes (Dot); her grandchildren, Leah Solomon Evans, Kim Solomon, Dwight Solomon, Tracy Solomon Morris, Cindy Solomon, Douglas Solomon, Logan Solomon and Alisa Solomon Seamster (Chase Solomon); and her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Huff, Michaela Huff, Jessica Palmer and Jordan Hatcher. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
