He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenson Vick and Mattie Hill Day; his son Brian Keith Day; and his sister Margie Day Baker. He is survived by: his wife Mozelle Gates Day; his daughter ReAnn Day Morris; his siblings, Harold L. Day, Priscilla Clayton and Carol Poole; and his grandchildren, Taylor Morris, Kasey Morris, Regan Morris, Olivia Day and Hayden Day.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Person Memorial Cemetery (3250 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
