She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Long and Mary Frances Regan Long; her husband Clyde Weldon Bowes; her daughter-in-law Joan Bowes; and her siblings, Joseph Long, Faye Solomon, Linda Duncan, Annie Mae Clayton and Edna Long.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael "Mike" Bowes of Roxboro and Sandra Kay Long (Horace) of Roxboro; her sister Lilian Oakley of Roxboro; her grandchildren, Doug Bowes (Christie), Carl Long (Dee Dee), Jamey Caudell and Lee Caudell (Christine); her great grandchildren, Camryn Bowes, Delanei Clayton, Lindsey Fagala, Carly Long, Nicole Long, Dane Long, Kierstyn Long, Courtney Caudell and Kaylee Caudell; and her great great grandchild Lane Gardner.
